OMG ,,,,,,,,,This past month has flown over and I have recently just realised that it is soon to be Halloween. On thinking about the traumatic experiences of sorting my kids outfits and make up out for this year I remembered that I had One thing already there ready for them to enjoy in the beauty department. ''Today I accomplished Zero'' by OPI from their Coca Cola collection. This is one of the nail polish's from the collection I had not tried up until the other day when rummaging through my polish collection when I was in need of something new and different . The days are getting shorter and the nights are getting darker and the summer is for me , over with. After all those cute pale, pastel shades , My fondness for something darker on my nails is growing rapidly and this shade was the first one that caught my eye . There are 9 pieces of this collection and already I have shared most of them with you so let us take a closer look at the stunning Autumn shade . What do they say about this polish? OPI Today I Accomplished Zero is a luxurious black polish loaded with red glitter. A must have for any Coca Cola or OPI fan, Today I Accomplished Zero is reminiscent of the effervescent bubbles of a bottle of Coca Cola Zero. A beautifully dramatic shade, Today I Accomplished Zero applies smoothly in two coats and is part of the limited edition Coca Cola Collection for Summer 2014. Inspired by happiness, OPI’s collaboration with Coca Cola will bring effortless style and iconic colour to the nails and will conjure up the same refreshing ‘Aaah!’ response as the refreshing taste of a Coca Cola soft drink on a hot summer’s day. Tip: Don’t forget a base coat with glitter polishes – we love Natural Nail Base Coat Single which promotes a long lasting finish. INGREDIENTS Ethyl Acetate, Butyl Acetate, Nitrocellulose, Propyl Acetate, Tosylamide/Formaldehyde Resin, Isopropyl Alcohol, Trimethyl Pentanyl Diisobutyrate, Triphenyl Phosphate, Ethyl Tosylamide, Camphor, Stearalkonium Bentonite. May Contain: Mica, Dimethicone, Polyehtylene Terephthalate, Calcium Sodium Borosilicate, Calcium Aluminum Borosilicate, Alumina, Silica, Hydrogenated Polyisobutylene, Palmitic Acid, Diamond, Tin Oxide, Calcium/Aluminum/Sodium Salicate, CI77120, CI77163, CI77891, CI77491, CI77499, CI77510, CI19140, CI15850, CI73360, CI15880, CI77000, CI75170, CI42090, CI47000, CI60725. ''Today I accomplished Zero'' is a polish which I first did not like the look of but now love after having it on my nails. I thought it may be a little dark for me but it actually looks fantastic against my pale olive skin. The polish is a black jelly base loaded with pink glitter, I actually thought it was red glitter but it actually gives of a fuchsia tone on the nail . The polish is inspired by Coke Zero which for me lately has also been one of my faves lately lol. I am not usually into the contrasting glitters but this works fantastic and although the first coat applied sheer , I eventually got an opaque finish after two coats. The glitter is rather large and due to that , I find it can be quite a pain in getting a smooth finish as you can see but I am sure with more time put into applying it (I decided to apply mine just before needing to pick up the children so was in a hurry) It will be better. The good thing about having large glitter in the polish is that it dries a lot quicker but the texture for me is a pain in the butt. It does not dry smoothly and I had to add a decent topcoat after taking these pics when I realised how bad the texture actually was and it did help massively. The good thing I found about this glitter based polish is that it was also very easy to remove. On using glitter polishes before I have realised they are terrible for removing but because the glitter is large and only needing two coats , it seemed very easy . Today I accomplished zero is available from Beauty Bay for now only £7.17 which is a bargain considering they were £11.95.
It seems to be the perfect shade for me today , I have completely accomplished zero, but I do know this is now been replaced from the bottom of the polish pile and placed near the top . What do you think about the vampish shade, will you be giving it a try ?
